The Public Programme supports the formation of collectives that demonstrate untraditional work with a stance of opposition to the ideas of tradition and professionalism in the current Palestinian cultural milieu. With a mix of different disciplines, these collectives are foreseen to shift the emphasis from the current consumption of neoliberal culture of ‘stage and spectacle’ to a cultural process that can make a shift and difference in the ‘local’ and produce a different imagination for an alternative future. A new round of open call for 2 to 3 new collectives is announced on a biennial basis.
